Welcome to Promzi ("we", "our", or "us"). Promzi is a browser extension and web dashboard that helps you capture, organise, and reuse AI prompts from across the web. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
By using Promzi — including the Chrome extension or the web dashboard — you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth. We use this solely to create and authenticate your Promzi account.
2.2 Prompt Data
All prompts, images, tags, collections, and categories you save are stored in your personal vault. This data is associated with your account and stored securely using our database service — only you can access your data.
2.3 Extension Usage
The Promzi Chrome extension reads page content only when you explicitly trigger a save action (by clicking the extension icon). We do not track your browsing history, run in the background passively, or collect data from pages without your direct action.
2.4 Usage Analytics
We may collect anonymised, aggregated usage metrics (e.g. feature usage frequency) to improve the product. This data is not personally identifiable.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and provide access to your personal vault
- To store, retrieve, and sync your saved prompts and assets
- To send transactional notifications (e.g. account-related emails), if applicable
- To improve Promzi's features and user experience using aggregated analytics
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Chrome Extension Permissions
The Promzi Chrome extension requests only the minimum permissions needed:
- activeTab — to read content from the current page only when you click the extension icon
- storage — to cache your session token locally so you stay signed in
- identity — to sign in with Google OAuth
We do not request broad host permissions and never read pages without your explicit action.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your vault data is stored securely. We isolate each user's data strictly. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Images you upload are stored as part of your vault. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.
6. Third-Party Services
Promzi uses the following third-party services:
- Google OAuth — for authentication. Google's Privacy Policy applies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Delete — request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Correct — update your account information at any time
- Export — export your vault data in a portable format

8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
9. Children's Privacy
Promzi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify users through the dashboard if the changes are material.
